Why are corridors particularly critical?

Entrance, waiting and open areas, as well as corridors in busy buildings, often serve as escape routes. It takes an average of 10 to 15 minutes for the fire department to arrive at the scene of a fire. Especially at a time like this, it’s vital to prevent the flames from spreading. Flame-retardant products reduce flammability, slow the spread of fire along surfaces, extend the time until structural failure and reduce the development of smoke and toxic gases.
