EGGER plant Unterradlberg will in future supply district heating for St. Pölten
EGGER is investing specifically in its local energy infrastructure. The positive effects extend beyond the plant boundaries: from the end of 2027, renewable heat from the EGGER plant in Unterradlberg (AT) will be fed into the district heating network of the city of St. Pölten.

New power plant at EGGER plant in St. Johann in Tirol generates electricity for the first time
The construction of the power plant by EGGER at the parent plant in St. Johann in Tirol reaches an important milestone with the first electricity generated. Since construction began in spring 2024, the wood-based material manufacturer EGGER has invested around EUR 80 million in the next expansion stage of the energy and environmental project at its plant in St. Johann in Tirol (AT).

Half-year results: EGGER Group holds its own in a difficult environment
The EGGER Group closed the first half of its 2025/2026 financial year with consolidated revenues of EUR 2.15 billion. Thanks to its solid financial basis and consistent implementation of its long-term strategy, the family company was able to ensure stability and continue to make extensive investments in its own plants.

Fritz Egger celebrates his 75th birthday
Fritz Egger celebrated his 75th birthday on 15th November 2025 and retired from the Supervisory Board of the EGGER Group. The role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board is taken over by Walter Schiegl.
